I saw this deal a few days ago and was going to post, but the fridge is completely out of stock in my area and unavailable to order. Yay to those SDers who can get in on this deal!
I actually need a SS counter depth fridge, so would consider this if it was in stock.
Chinese company and Chinese made. Thanks but no thanks. Buy American!
Yeah screw the commies. China and Russia can shove it. Too bad Russia doesn't make anything besides alcoholics and mail order brides or I'd be telling everyone to boycott them too.

Oh boy, someone needs a lesson on modern economics. This isn't the 60's, there is no such thing as a purely American product anymore.
That's true, nothing is purely American. But this is as purely non-American as you can get. A Chinese company with manufacturing mainly in China, some in the middle East and in France. Nothing in the United States.
Maytag / Whirlpool is still a United states-based company with most of its manufacturing within the United States, except for smaller appliances such as microwaves.
General electric is still United States based company, has a lot more worldwide manufacturing than Maytag Whirlpool but lists on its appliances where it was made.
Sub-Zero/Wolf is the United states-based company with manufacturing for fridges in the United States.

Well, you better check where your cell phone and computer components are made then, because based on your xenophobic brain, you might have to throw everything away. 🤣
Hmmm give money to a communist party backed Chinese company to fund more missiles to point at our Navy... or spend a little more for a reliable fridge from an American, South Korean, or German company. Decisions decisions.
