I believe this is the same model I bought on Black Friday 2018 for 2500 at Costco. It's been a phenomenal TV and the picture is great. No complaints.

NU8000 and RU8000 seem like they are comparable on paper, but the NU gets more than double as bright in SDR and HDR.... Significantly better for general TV and Movies.

Only get the RU if it's for a light controlled room and mainly for gaming/PC use.
