The Phasor 201 pedals are being sold on the DigiTech website for less than used pedals anywhere else, and with free shipping.

This is a good price for a classic phaser effect that can make a guitar sound very close to Pink Floyd's "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" when set to the right settings.

Don't take these on a plane unless you want to answer some questions. DOD? Phasor? Someone get the US Space Force on the line.

No joke, about 6 months after 9/11 I was boarding with my brother (a metal guitarist) and the TSA opened up his carryon as 3 agents swarmed on a little box full of wires and tubes with the words DEATH METAL printed on the case. Fun times.

Thanks OP; in for one. No sales tax (Ohio) sweetens the deal for me (Ordered through Harman, but I think it's the same thing as the DigiTech site?). Andy from Reverb does an excellent review of this pedal on YT.

Digitech is my favorite non-boutique pedal company. Ironically (or not), the head of that division broke off to form his own boutique pedal company called Spiral Electric FX. The black spiral is a killer fuzz which is the successor to the Digitech Carcosa.

Tom Cram is the name of the guy. He was actually laid off by Digitech/Harman/Samsung (not sure which level of the company gave the division the axe).

Digitech is discontinuing most of the stompboxes, so if you're at all interested in this phasor, get it now. When it's gone, they won't make more. $45 is a great price for this pedal too.

I like my MXR Phase 95, so I won't be following my own advise to buy this phasor, but I did get some of the other DOD pedals when they were part of this sale - 440 (envelope filter), 280 (compressor), 250 (overdrive/distortion). All great pedals! I have the Carcosa as well, it's a lot of fun.

Thanks OP! I, too, got a few other pedals off of previous posts here, including the Rubberneck delay, 440 envelope filter, Boneshaker distortion, Gunslinger distortion, Luxe detune pedal, and now this 201 phasor.

Thanks, I snagged one! I also managed to get one of the DOD 250 Overdrive pedals a month or so ago before they sold out, and I swear it's one of the best ODs I've ever used in 20 years of guitar playing. Can't believe they blew them out at $45. Hoping to be amazed just as much by the DOD Phasor 201!

I have this pedal, as well as the DOD Bifet Boost and 250 Overdrive (which must have just sold out, because they were $45 for the longest time). These DOD reissues punch well above their weight class for the money. I also have the Polara/Obscura reverb and delay pedals, and the Ricochet Whammy. Digitech has done a real turnaround in recent years and created some really great pedals.

These pedals from DOD/Digitech have been around the $50 price point for years. Don't see taking $5 off as a good deal. Drop it to $25 and we're talkin'. This is just a fishin' price for the newbs. Not that it matters but I'm on the MXR tip as well.

Looking to get away from one of those 40 in one digital pedals that I been messing with, this seems like a solid place to start.
