Definitely isn't. For one Makita puts their name on the side of their batteries. Due to their popularity in Asia there are a ton of Makita knock-off batteries floating around, including some with actual Makita trademarks on them. Care needs to be taken when buying from non-authorized sellers.
The "genuine" batteries on that site seem to say "OEM." They have the OEM version of the 5AH battery for like $75.
Note that the going rate (as someone above stated) on local CL / ebay /etc... for a 5AH battery is about $50. I recently sold 2 sets of: 1 dual port charger and 4 5.0ah batteries (new) for $240 on FB market place. I got some OPE but really didn't need 20 batteries lol.

Says "Battery for Makita". Is that 50% dishonest or 100% dishonest?
