Not bad as it runs close to the sn750 speeds. It runs the minimum speeds to run the Unreal 5 demo. I'm sure most games won't use that much speed but still good to know your SSD can.

Cheaper on WD site with 10% off by signing up for the newsletter. And can get additional 15% with their EDU.

Credit to SDBuddy on the additional savings.

Amazon is one of the very reason lockdown was bearable.

How is it that they are polluting when they deliver instead of everyone else driving to the stores? They are probably more efficient and less polluting if you add up all the miles driven or is the concept of logistics too complex for your woke brain to comprehend?
Uh... Do you think Amazon are the only company that relies on trucks to deliver goods?
I removed other coupons, then added the 15% edu, then the 10% memorialsale.

I did it in incognito too b/c WD has cookies and I don't want to erase all site cookies to fix it..but prices are weird unless I go into incog. Good luck. (but 106 is great still...)

Thanks OP! Repped!

OP: also add this to your main post. Others are pointing this out and here's the info for a WD.com deal...

https://shop.westerndigital.com/p...DS250G2B0C

Direct from Western Digital, marked down to $119.99 - 10% promo code = $106.59 + Free Shipping

Slim single-sided SN550 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe SSD
SKU: WDS100T2B0C

Currently in stock.

Have the 10% coupon email emailed to you by going to the product page and by hovering over any tab (shop/explore/support), and click the blue promotional text.

Possibly less if you can apply the 15% student discount instead.

Yes, before covids.

The WD.com price right now if you use .edu discount ... I got it down to $100.09 by mixing and matching the discount code orders of my 15% discount and the "MEMORIALSALE" code.

Even cheaper if you can get other cashback sites to stack a 5% back... Wink

I can't seem to get it under $106.59 with the edu and the memorialsale codes. What is the trick?

I bought one direct from the WD store last week:

WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD 1TB
SKU: WDS100T2B0C
Capacity: 1 TB
$119.99
Promo -$18.oo (edu/sr discount, newsletter sign up?, promo?)
Tax $7.14
Total $109.13

Best part, Bezos and Scamazon gets none of my money to buy more polluting street hogging trucks. Yes, I buy from them sometimes but it has to be a great deal.

I'm also posting this in hopes some techy folks that know how to configure these could reply with a good link.
Things like UEFI mode, AHCI, RAID, etc. Some say I'd have to start with a clean install of Win 7 before I restore old drive onto it. For a Dell Optiplex bios. Thanks for any info.

Uh... Do you think Amazon are the only company that relies on trucks to deliver goods?

Thanks, I've been waiting for this one. Stacking with memorialsale saved me an extra $0.40. Smilie
