is this really a good deal? i want to upgrade to PCIE SSD but see this drive was significantly cheaper before, what are the advantages of getting this over WD blue or something in 110 bucks range?

this is equivalent to black, not blue. noticeable performance difference. it's def been cheaper but if you need something now, don't compromise over $20. not worth it.
