I know Pyle is pretty terrible overall but I was looking at similar cheap stereo amps (even marine gear) as a solution for a low budget outdoor speaker/backyard theater setup. Bluetooth is nice to have at this price point but I'd probably hook up a Raspberry Pi running Plex to the analog inputs to reduce latency. Anybody have experience with this in similar situations?

I have no experience with Raspberry Pi. My old workshop receiver crapped out. It didn't have Bluetooth. This is an upgrade from the very old receiver I had in my workshop. I'm gonna see how it does. If it works out, I'll be on the lookout for a sale on the Polk Audio Patio 200 speakers.

Probably want to pair your pi with a schitt dac so you can have a schitt-pyle output for your speakers

Anyone else remember when Pyle was made in USA (indiana) and actually had decent stuff? what happened to your company Frank?

The style of the remote control alone is reason to move along.

Any other suggestions for a unit under $100 that has a Bluetooth receiver, FM, and at least 2 speaker plugs?

This is for a dusty workshop so I will not be installing a $100+ Onkyo or Denon.

I'm doing the same for my painting studio. I haven't picked one yet but was checking out this list: https://wiki.ezvid.com/best-mini-...amplifiers

I'm surprised that Pyle PTA4 ended up making the list that you linked.

Here's what we ended up doing:

Receiver: Pioneer VSX-D514
Bluetooth transmitter: TaoTronics Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter and Receiver, Digital Optical TOSLINK and 3.5mm Wireless Audio [amazon.com]
Speakers: 1 pair of off brand that the previous owner has hooked up plus 1 Polk Audio Monitor40 Series II Two-Way Bookshelf Loudspeaker

I'm still planning on getting the Polk Patio speakers when they go back on sale

The current setup sounds pretty decent for a 20'x24'workshop gym. I was surprised about the range of the bluetooth transmitter. The transmitter is small and the range is at least 30 feet or so.

Thanks for that! I want APTX-HD, as that sounds way better... I've got my eyes on:
https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-...B083TNQK25
https://www.amazon.com/Nobsound-B...757&sr=8-6

The fact that the 2nd one claims 200w just bugs the hell out of me.
