10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.
There's a thread about the $40/50 1gbps offering, as well as one about the free HBO MAX -- Good info in both of those threads, for those with questions.
I recieved an email from ATT that I get HBO Max for free with my 1gig Internet. This promo looks too be good for existing and new customers. If you are unsure contact ATT. I was able login to HBO MAX App using my ATT credentials.
Woohoo to adding another streaming platform to my list.
Access to HBO MaxTM is available with the following plans at no extra charge: Top-tier PREMIER & LO MAXIMO programming packages on DIRECTV (excl. AT&T TV top-tier package), AT&T Unlimited Elite wireless plan (after 100GB, AT&T may temporarily slow data speeds if the network is busy), and AT&T Internet 1000 plan (limited availability; may not be available in your area). Access HBO MaxTM through HBO MaxTM app or compatible browser with your AT&T log-in credentials. Compatible device required (sold separately). Visit att.com/myatt to verify/create your account. Programming and content subject to change. Other conditions and restrictions apply. HBO MaxTM and related service marks are the property of Warner Media Direct, LLC
