10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

Hi,
I am with Spectrum for internet speed for 200 mpbs and really thinking about switching to this promo.
Anybody who has this service can chime in how reliable att service is compare to Spectrum?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I switched from Spectrum 400/20 plan to ATT Internet 1000. Place was pre wired with fiber so it was pretty simple. I like it so far. There's router bypasses solutions out there if you have the right hardware. The ONT which is the fiber to ethernet converter can not be bypassed but the the actual router they force you to use,can be or you can put it in pass thru mode to use your own router..although there's some problems with this. Tons of documentation out on this out there if you Google.

Just installed the 1000 plan for $49.99 plus $10 equipment fee and a $100 cash card. I also got an extra $100 cash card with code SAVEMORE. Didnt expect HBOMax will be free, a good deal I would say.
Me too! Very excited!

I currently pay $40 for 100 Mbps fiber with ATT. It's unlimited since I have it bundled with Directv/ Landline. Trying to crunch the numbers to see if it's worth the change.

I already jumped on that $49 for 12 months on my fiber. Wonder if I can get HBO Max for free. 🤔

Man I'm grateful for posts like these. I was paying $90 a month for internet 1000. The reps didn't even put up a fight when you ask to be transferred to loyalty department. They helped me activate my hbo max and reduced my bill to this. I'm in south Florida

mine did that the first time then it worked after i tried again. i assume its getting hammered so it may glitch a few times.
Log in to your ATT account on PC and you will see a link to activate the HBO max once you click on that and than you will be able to go to HBO max website > upper right corner > sign in > TV mobile provider and pick ATT > sign in and you should be ready to go
Hope this helps!!!

1GB? I go through that in a few days. Pass
1Gbps is the speed of the connection, not the limit of data.
