10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

Thank you. I'm in Chicago and thinking of leaving WOW with their 500/50 at $70/month.

What is the upload speed to the 1,000 Mbps download?
I've had the 300 AT&T fiber package. Just upgraded to the 1000 with this deal. In my area, the fiber connection is symmetrical - meaning upload speeds are the same as download.

I'm paying $24/month for 1GB fiber service and they gave me FREE HBO MAX. They're screwing someone!

Anyone using it in San Diego? How's the network and speed reliability in general, of course it's location dependent. Thanks
Mission Valley - it seems like all of my devices cut in and our randomly at different times for a good 30 minutes which I would assume is due to the router or interference rather than the service itself. I have no complaints about speed, though ping could be better. Online gaming is still possible but I'm not really an online gamer. Enterprise GDrive downloads around 800 mbps and uploads at almost 900. Speedtest.net ratings are similar if not a bit higher.

They did take over 2 weeks to get someone out to me though even though I booked installation a month in advance them overbooking was made out to be my problem. But in the end the service is good so that ends my complaint.

It's me. I'm paying 94 total with no eligibility for HBO Max in my area for some reason.

I guess a good deal if you can have it. I get the same slow ATT speeds, 15% of what I have now for the same price after the standard ATT nickel and diming, and a contract. Had fiber to the curb in my neighborhood for 10+ years, can get gigabit with cable modem but not ATT.

Able to jump in this deal. Lowered my plan from 90 to 49.99 before taxes. I'm happy more. Thanks OP

Fail! Only 75 Mbps available and $10 rental fee. What a joke.
Way worse in many Indianapolis area suburbs. Max for us is 25mbps! Switched to Comcast Xfinity and get 200...

AT & T sucks: see $10 a month equipment fee plus taxes. Why can't they just include the $10 a month fee in their price? They should only be used as a last resort.

It IS actually for the gateway (which is both the modem and the router), not for the terminal. The reason you can't use your own gateway is that theirs has authentication built-in.

Just called as an existing user and at the prompt asked for loyalty department, was on hold for 2 minutes and with the rep for less than 10. Immediately switched me over to the new pricing from my previous $90 a month.

Not available in Reno NV, We hare being raped by Spectrum for 70 bucks a month for plain basic cable service. I may have to go AT&T's DSL for 12 months just to then get back on Spectrum's new customer plan for $40 a month.
