10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

Thanks OP. I had already gotten the $50 deal a couple months back and when I looked at my account HBO max was a free add-on. Now I'm binge watching the Sopranos. I think I only started watching that in season 5 when it originally aired. The only that already noted is don't expect to get near that 1 Gbps speed that is promised wirelessly. I normally get in the 300-400 mbps range. I do have my AT&T modem/router bridged to get both channels separately. The internet definitely isn't as consistent for not dropping like Comcast was but for this price I will deal with.

Are you getting full speed out of the router? I have an orbi, and per the speed test to the router I am only getting ~700s down BUT 900s UP..

I have pass thru enabled and finally figured out how to do the cascading, but still not seeing full speed down.

That's what I am getting on wired, 700 down and 900 up. On wifi it varies, but highest I got was 450 down and up considering I don't have the latest and greatest router.

That would be nice, but I think most SDers already have their own router to use. I've never liked the ISP equipment.

no. I was able to hook laptop via Ethernet with internet working.

Check attached router speed with a laptop via Ethernet. I noticed depending what server I chose I was able to get high 800s low 900 for download. I'm still going to contact att about it. Remember tho the speed they advertise is like 940 although when I run their router test it says I get close to 1gb.

Just got AT&T fiber installed and getting around 980Mbps up and down wired. Through WIFI, my devices are getting around 200-400Mbps but that's device and WIFI limitations. I previously had Spectrum at 60Mbps so this is great. Thanks OP!

Yes they are still usable, but I am not using them. I want all my devices connected to one network through my router and switch.
