I signed up for this Fiber deal a few weeks ago. I have a poor connection upstairs and far side of the house. I ordered a few of the AT&T Smart Wi-Fi Extenders. What has been peoples' experience with these? I was able to get 3 for $95 + tax, normally $39 each.

Have any existing customers been able to successfully have a CSR apply the $50 1gig/HBO Max promo pricing if they are already under a different promo? I tried to sign up when the deal was first published, didn't work online and I figured it wasn't in my area. Then yesterday we get 2 AT&T agents knocking on the door and letting us know about the promo, and they say it's available to existing customers too. I called up and the CSR told me I wasn't eligible because I already had a promo active (which expires in 48 days.) She wouldn't remove the old promo and apply the new one for whatever reason--even if I'm extending my agreement (dumb).

Curious to see what others have experienced?

I wouldn't trust 2 agents walking up to your door as most of the time they are third party contracting with AT&T or even just scammers. Always call AT&T directly to verify or check out website.

Horrible service, wifi disconnects multiple times a day. We previously had spectrum, I should've stayed.

Had the opposite experience. Normal CSR said they couldn't help, but then chatted with rewards and they were able to take care of it. Said I should see a notification in my account in 3-5 business days. No idea how long until I actually receive it.

Trash. The bill is never the same. Cancelled after just 2 months. First month $192 next month $140 when it was suppose to be $62 with taxes. Save yourself the headache. #bankruptcy

We were still on a contract that was the slower plan for $70. I simply went into the account and changed the service. This promo minus the HBO has been out for a while. I did this right at the start of the lockdown. All it did was change my service and reset my 12 months.

I signed up 2 months ago. Had 3 promos in cart upon checkout (2 x $100) and (1 x $25) for a total of $225 (I even have screenshots). I only ever got $100. Don't hold your breath on getting more than 1.

I just switched from Spectrum to ATT. The promo I received in the mail said $300 gift card. When I called I got $200 over the phone then they sent another $300 so a total of $500 in GC's. Service is better than Spectrum so far.

Agreed. Spectrum speed (300mbps) is way faster than AT&T 1GBps. Spectrum stability is awesome. AT&T is very unstable - You get disconnect for online gaming, buffering, slow loading and website not loading at all which needs to be refresh.

Do not have this problem with Spectrum.
