10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

I ordered AT&T Fiber and got installed a few weeks ago. I got an e-mail a few days ago to claim the $100 for online ordering (that didn't require a promo code). Logged into the AT&T Rewards website using my redemption code. Still hadn't received the e-mail for the 2nd $100 (SAVEMORE promo) for qualifying product. Today, went directly to the att.com/rewardcenter, but rather than enter a claim number to login, I used the account # and zipcode option to login. After I logged in, I was presented with the 2nd $100 reward to claim.

Just thought I'd share if you were like me waiting for that 2nd e-mail.

I signed up and had fiber installed on 5/13. Received the first reward card within a few days. Just now received a second email for the second $100 reward code for the SAVEMORE code almost a month and a half later. Now just waiting for the XTRACASH code for the final $25.

I saw there's a data cap 1tb per month. $10 per 50gb. I do Netflix & PS4 everyday. Is 1tb more than enough for a month?

Order Fiber and At&T tv for $80+10 modem rental $90/month on 6/2. Installed internet 6/5. Confirmed all $400 in rebates (including SAVEMORE) are received or shipped. Only rebate left is top cash back.com for another $150 totaling $550 in rebates. Yes, year two will be a jump but with these rebates is still end up ahead from what Comcast was offering for just internet and then $60/month Directv now (At&T TV is the exact copy of dtv) but with 500 hours of cloud dvr. So I'm way on top especially since I already anticipate bargaining at year 2 to bring down the monthly at least another $10-$20 for the final year.

10 modem rentals? What are you doing?

As for the commenter above you, there is no data cap on 1000 at least.

You can check your usage daily. I never use up my 1TB and I stream movies every day too. YMMV. I think unless you use playstation now streaming the consumption shouldnt be that much.

Did the hbo max deal just ended?
I don't believe so. See below, but it is still unclear to me how long you get HBO Max included: 1 month, 12 months, as long as you have 1 Gig service...

I was told by an AT&T CSR for as long as you keep AT&T 1 Gbps service.

They offered me:

Gigafiber 50M/50M ($50/month)
Gigafiber 100M/100M ($70/month)
Gigafiber 1GB/1GB ($90/month)

Doesn't seem very competitive at first glance?
If you don't need the full gigabit speed, and just need more upload bandwidth, toast offers 60/60 for 45$ which should be decent upload for streaming, backups. way better than spectrum's 10 up....

https://www.toast.net/internet/home/fiber

else it is cheaper with att for the full gigabit speed of 70+10 for the rental

Relax, they always seem to have a promo for that so now it's actnow.

Can't wait to have my fiber installed! The deal I regret I missed out on was the waiving of the equipment fee back in march because of concerns of COVID-19 but not this time!

I was told by two different chat reps, one said 12 months while the other said life of the service.

How did you get XTRACASH code work? It shows "can't be combined with other promos" for me. TIA.

Did you use XTRACASH code? ACTNOW works great though.
