10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

hey guys has anybody been able to get out of the $10/month rental for equipment? I have my own modem/router I bought a few years ago. Also does anybody know if we sign up for the 12 months but we only need it for 9 months, can we cancel and still keep the GC's?
You can't. Even if you own one of their routers they won't allow it to be reused.

Called AT&T and was told that the $50 pricing is for bundle else it's 69.99.🙄
The deal says online only. I just ordered it and got it for $59.99, which included the modem rental and HBO Max for 30 days. I thought I was supposed to get HBO Max for a year, so I may just cancel it.

I ordered fiber back in June with this deal. My fiber install went really smooth, we have underground wiring and they just ran a fish tape through the conduit to the box in the ground and pulled a stiff fiber cable through. No digging or anything. Then I had him install the ONT in a data cabinet I setup in my garage. Now I have a nice fast wifi signal in the garage for the Tesla. I set up their equipment on a different subnet, then you have to configure the AT&T router to passthrough traffic to your router. It's a little bit of a pain but it works well. Prior to getting that all working my R8000 was having some kind of an issue where I was getting 1GB upload but only 20 MB download.

Much better than all the issues I was having with Spectrum and it's just stupid fast.

I just had my fiber installed so far working good, just gotta configure passthrough. What I'm curious about is how did a third party AT&T reseller knew I was installing internet? They tried to get to sign there stupid contract and I told them to pound sand and chased them off my property.

I signed up for the 300 mbps plan (with no equipment fee) a year or so ago before switching to the 1 gig plan and don't pay the $10 Equipment fee today.

I still have a couple of weeks before I close on my new house. If I sign up now, can I schedule the install a few weeks out?

How do you get this as a current customer? Anyone get them to adjust the price or give reward cards without canceling and signing back up? The best they offered was $69.99 for the 1Gig internet and a $10 discount if I bundle my wireless services.

I've been trying to get this deal for 6 months now, but was told because I have the $30 dollar off promo($80/month) I couldn't stack another promo on. I called today after setting up with spectrum and found out that I was never patched through to the loyalty department, having called 3 times. When I asked why I was never patched through to loyalty, the rep said that it depends on who you're talking to in the department. I was put through to billing and never sent to loyalty. The rep offered me 59.99 with free hbo max. Didn't take the offer but make sure you talk to loyalty department because I had multiple people say they couldn't do anything but this rep was able to do it.

If you cancel you can't sign up for their services for 60 days they say

I just signed up, but it's saying HBO Max is for a 30 day trial. I thought it was included with it and not a trial.
