10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

So I am an existing customer...I currently do not have have any discounts and pay $100 a month for 1 gig with hbo max. I called and asked to talk to retention, told them I was going to go to spectrum, still they wouldn't give me this deal or any discounts. Any tips or suggestions on how to get this discount?
