10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

I live in Los Angeles and the fastest speed AT&T has offered for years and years at my address has been max 768kbps speed for $50 a month for the first 12 months lol. That is with a data cap, but it's not as if I would ever surpass the cap at that speed. This is slower than the DSL days a long time ago when they would at least offer 3mb/s even though it would be slower than that. Only ever got the 768kbps offer after DSL went away. Not sure why they even offer it or why they can't offer a fast speed.

if i goto att.com>click internet I see 49.99+equip+ 1tb data limit


If i goto
https://www.att.com/internet/fiber/ - its 39.99+equip+unlimited data

When loged in to ATT account i get 49.99+equip+ 1tb data limit

Chrome with att.com for me is broken. I can't get any page to load after loging in

The website is trash. I know what you are talking about. Just use incognito mode or another browser. Should work.

Thanks - when it finally loaded it didn't show the promo anyway so I figured I'd just call. I called in this morning and the best the retention dept. could get me was $69.99 (inc. modem).

By connecting a router to the ethernet port of gateway, I do have better coverage, especially outside of the house.

Does anyone know if At&t has an autopay and paperless billing discount, on top of the promo pricing we're already getting? And if you are, does that work for credit cards and checking accounts?

I looked online and I only saw phone customers getting an autopay discount.

I have ATT Uverse $30/month that is 45Mbps with unlimited data, no cap. So this is 20 times faster but has a data cap of 1 TB, which I've hit several times. Do they throttle or charge extra after 1tb?
