10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

Got an install last week in metro Atlanta, and got the new BGW320. Not sure if this is the case in other areas, but 1GB was the only speed they offered me.

I installed an Eero Pro mesh with it also.

Not that I know of, looks like some people have it and some people don't, depends on the area I guess.

Anybody know how to get the $39.99 a month + $10 equipment fee = $49.99 a month?

I think the $10 additional to bring down to $39.99 is with a qualifying additional service such as specific ATT Postpaid plan or Direct TV. With either of these plans I think ATT would be making up the $10 quite easily as they are expensive.

That's correct, I am a current AT&T Wireless postpaid customer and my offer in Los Angeles is

$39.99 1GBPS, no data cap
$10 modem rental fee

yeah , actually double on TCB for Labor Day Wknd - not one of the most reliable CB sites though , better than BeScam

I am Comcast contract until Dec 5th though so might wait until BF weekend, right before that ends. I'll hopefully also have a better picture of how long I will be staying in my place
This is an anecdote but TCB has the been one of my most trusted CB sites

should have waited a bit for the double cb during labor day. I was earlier by one week and only get 200 reward + 75cb. still better than cox though.

Excellent! Just got off customer service call and they switched me from $99.99 to $49.99. Even better was my upcoming bill was set to charge on the 30th but they prorated $10 for the next 15 days so my bill is now due on the 10th instead at $60 and then subsequently for 12 months at $49.99.
What did you tell them? And why are you paying 99$?

I got upgraded to this offer from my $50/mo 300mbps plan. I did it over chat and explicitly made sure there would be no additional fees such as router/modem so I have that in writing. Hopefully, I won't get charged but if I do I got a record saying I won't be charged any additional fees!
Did you get charged with additional fees? My 50$/month 300MBps is about to expire in 2 months and there is a 180 ETF fee. I wonder if I can upgrade right now but have the upgrade go-in once my current contract expires. Is that what you did?

If you have two adults in your house.. just switch back and forth. Me and my wife do this every year typically, just swap names and start a new service with the newest promo.
Is there any down time due to the swap? how many days?

I'm an existing customer and had no problem dropping the price to the $50. I used the online chat. They first said it would no longer be unlimited so I said no thanks, please cancel. 2 minutes later I was set.
What was your previous package before this? Did you just say upgrade immediately or will it upgrade after your current offer expires? Mine expires Nov 1 and I have the 80$/month 300MBps with 30 OFF paying about 50.26$/month... I wonder if you have a bundle deal so that's why they folded quickly.

Called ATT to ask for new promo pricing as my existing pricing was expiring. They offered me this deal $49.99 for 1gb up/down, with unlimited data, 1 year of free HBO max, and NO equipment fees.
How far are you from the expiry of your current promo?

you lose the ability to use your own router and not use theirs
So if I do this promo they will replace my current AT&T router? I'm on their 80$/month plan 300 MBPS with 30OFF promo...

I entered my San Diego address and got this:

Great news! You can get our fast, reliable internet at your address.

50 Mbps Internet—plenty of speed to do your thing and more
Great for HD video streaming on multiple devices, sharing videos and photos, and gaming
Stream up to 8 devices at the same time 1
$49.99

NO THANKS! I have 200 Mbps cable for $50 already!
Where are you in San Diego and which company is offering 200Mbps for $50? I'm in north county and shopping around for internet service. Wave
