10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

I stopped using ATT around 5 years ago, and the best they offer around my area is still 10 mbps lol
My cable speeds have gone from 100 mbps to 200 mbps for the same price and that's the minimum speed, I could get 1 gbps, but I don't need it.

I use ATT Fiber. It's pretty solid. Only bummer with this 1TB deal is your HAVE to rent a modem (additional $10/month). So, you'll start at $60/month to $70 to eventually $80/month starting the third year on.

I just got AT&T fiber to replace Comcast, and they installed a combination modem with built-in ONT. I routinely get 900+ up and down wired and 600+ wireless in every corner of my 3000 sf house. Also got the $200 in gift cards. Could not be more pleased.

FYI folks, Comcast lets you continue to usr your existing @comcast.net email addresses for life after cancellation as long as you continue to log in regularly. Don't let that hold you back from switching.

But cable modem service has terrible upload speed. Granted, some may not care about that, but just something to note. While AT&T mentioned here is 1 Gbps in both directions, a family member recently upgraded his cable modem service to 300 Mbps down but only 5 Mbps up. WTF? He said the best tier of service they offer is 500/15. shake head

How did you get $200 in gift cards for internet? The max I see is $100.

I was in Costco yesterday and they have pretty much the same deal thru Costco with a $50 cash card. But the guy was saying the price won't go up after 12 months. Anyone has experience with AT&T thru Costco ?

I have been trying for an hour to get this to go through. I have even been on chat support with 5 different people when I hit submit order it errors out over and over again (I did it with chat support active about 12 times same result even when they tell me they have fixed it) did it in 3 different browsers in separate sessions and it did the same thing every time so far.
