The CSR on call is aware of this plan and did the plan change right away. 5 mins later, I can log into the HBO MAX website to stream videos! Horray! I am in South CA.
It took a while but they finally moved me up to internal billing who took it off.
The primary thing is it is a closed network so you have to use there own network addressed equipment to get service why should you pay them for equipment you have to have to initiate a service which you already pay for?

Only solution was to buy my own router and do IP passthrough.
Argument was I have to power the ONT, the crap modem, AND provide my own router? Thankfully they took it out for good without much issue
