10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

Hi,

AT&T recently jacked up my monthly price after I canceled cell service. Apparently this was put in the system as a bundled promotion. Customer support dealings have been futile. They have a short memory of what they've promoted and aren't willing to honor the original deal.

Anyone have a screenshot of this AT&T Promotion? I'm hoping to use that to my defense. Otherwise it's back to Spectrum for me Frown

I got my cashback verification the same day I placed my order. I made sure my adblockers were turned off so the cashback tracking wasn't blocked. I got my first AT&T reward card notification 2 days after my installation and the second reward card 10 days after.

I signed up a couple weeks ago and the only promotions were the $100 GC and a $50 GC. Right now I am seeing $100 GC, $25 GC and another $100 GC from FIBERNOW. Is there any way to get the new promotions or do I just have to cancel my install appointment and start over? What happens with the AT&T login?

For the people missing the gift cards, I ordered my fiber at end of Aug. I was promised $225 in cash back (100 from online order, 100 from fibernow code, and 25 from another coupon code). I got the email about the first $100 immediately and it arrived a week later with no problems. Its been 8 weeks since I started and no news one the rest of the $125 so I called the rewards center. They said they could give me the second $100 gift card, but they cant process the $25 because they only deal with $50 increments. So they sent me to AT&T billing and the billing guy said they could only give me $20 in a statement credit and not the full $25. So in all I'm down 5$ from what I was quoted, but its close enough for me. If you havent gotten urs after alot of waiting, try calling the rewards center. their number is 1800-288-9983 or u can find it in the rewards website. Hope this helps.

They told me it could take up to 6 weeks so Id say wait at least that long and call them on week 7. Or if ur nervous it can't hurt to call before the 6 weeks are up and see what they say.

We've had nothing but issues with the new ATT setup. While we get decent speeds wired in (450-990) the gateway/router is garbage with multiple devices it seems. I even went and bought the ATT network extender but it does almost nothing, getting .95MBPS wifi where our spectrum router was pushing 150-200 in that same location on a 400mbps plan.

Does anyone know if we cancel the AT&T service, do we have to return the gift card funds?

Seriously looking into going back to Spectrum, it's either that or I go spend 200+ on my own mesh system behind the AT&T gateway.
