DRM is never going away because it doesn't affect the average consumer. In nearly all cases, it just works, as you'd expect it to.
Yes, it's all of the that. It is the game all other open world games want and try to emulate.
Special Edition is better, but with mods from the nexus, you can improve everything in the game from textures and body models, to new spells and weapons.

It is very tempting for me because I have never played it, but I will wait until it is DRM free.
I just refuse to be part of the problem even though it means I loose out.
this is a great deal if you don't really care about getting the special edition which has better graphics. the game is effectively the same though
Thanks for your comment. I didn't know this and would've bought this otherwise. After seeing the graphics difference, I too will wait for the special edition.

There's are user mods to seriously upgrade the graphics. That's the advantage of having been out so long. They are really milking this game for all it's worth. I personally only 3 or 4 copies of it already.

For those who know the game. Is it more adventure/ quest stuff or more hack and slash

Edit: NVM, I bought the Special Edition. Highly recommend you buy it instead of Legendary because the latter is becoming less and less supported by the mod community.

I've played it through a couple times... regular and SE.
