AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Serious gaming. Fully Unlocked.

The cheapest it's been on 3 Camels is $160 so not bad and not everyone has a Microcenter.

Slightly overkill for the 3600 but gives you a good upgrade path.
People should wait for the new B550 motherboard which might come out on June 16. It will be compatible with the Ryzen 4000 series. It's also cheaper than the X570 motherboard.

Another option is to get the Ryzen 3300x which is cheaper than the 3600 and then upgrade to a Ryzen 4600 later this year.
For people who don't live near a Micro Center, this is a good deal. Lowest it's been in a while.

My micro center only has 2 x570 boards in stock, and they are both north of $500.

Wow, half way down the page it says 2600. I hate it when they do that. Looks like in March for a couple weeks it sold for $150.

Cancelled the 3300x I preordered on the 8th for this. 47 dollar difference. The fact that I already have a shipping notification is worth that alone. Got sick of waiting on the 3300x.

FYI, 3600XT with base clock of 4.0 and a boost clock of 4.7 is expected to launch June 12th (according to numerous leaks). It's alleged to replace the 3600X at the same price point. The new clocks should provide for an increase in gaming performance.

Think customs is holding stuff up. I have one package that has been sitting in Grapevine TX since May 21st (supposed to be delivered May 14th). Also stuff sitting at port since March, 15 will be delivered when they get around to it. Already made claim on ebay against the one from March and they want to wait longer.
