Vudu (and Fandango soon) should learn to use "pick & mix" bundles (or whatever you call them) because anyone who has been buying movies for any length of time will have multiple movies in each bundle rendering them all not worthwhile. If you could pick any 5 from a large list, there might be a worthwhile deal for more people, but it seems people in marketing/promotions at most companies have little clue how things work.
If they gave you the option of UHD, I might buy it, but they don't let you. Disappointing.
Vudu does that regularly, but you are right, these are useless. A bundle with five movies I'd want but don't already on any of? Not likely.

Agreed. Was interested in one bundle, but checking Amazon first reveals there are UHD 4K copies of Jerry McGuire and Philadelphia available. For the longest time, Amazon was abysmal in their 4K selection, and now it appears VUDU isn't keeping up. Regardless, since these marketplaces refuse to facilitate an upgrade path from HDX to UHD, no sale.

I literally own 1, and only 1 movie out of every single one of these bundles.

Last Action Hero was such a favorite of mine as a kid. I should watch it again to see how badly it stands up

I really want the classics bundle. Being a millennial, I never got around to seeing them. But it sucks that it is HDX instead of UHD. Debating if I should wait since a few of these were just $5 each in UHD from iTunes in Feb.

Does itunes do this now? Is it the only one?

Is it possible to play UHD on a 1080p set? Does it auto-downscale? ty
