I ordered from Costco and they said the item was shipping (Order is being processed). Week later contacted them since no updates for tracking. Never notified item went out of stock (even though it wasn't when I placed order) and they had no clue if it would go back in stock. First and last time ordering from Costco

As someone mentioned, the Costco deal is dead. It went up to $319 for the bundle after 5/25 (or whenever that $289 bundle price ended) and website says that $319 price is until 6/4 but it shows out of stock at the moment. Some stores might have it in stock as they did before.

I have a feeling the bundle will be back to $289 at Costco a little later. They ran that $289 deal for the bundle pretty much back to back in April & May, maybe a week or 2 in between the deals.

In other words, you have to use 1 year of GoPro Plus and not cancel it during the free 1 month trial.

Sounds like a great deal.

Great for those who don't mind keeping the sub. But then it's another $50.
Cost is $249 + $50 for the sub so $299.

Others: current deal is Musicians friends for the Hero 8 at $290.

They are trying to clear stock.
They release new models in Sep.
Not sure the Hero8 is worth buying at this point.
