While most Kobalt tools are made in China, with some from Taiwan, this particular set is Made in India.
Its showing up as MSRP for me too, but given that Kobalt polished wrenches are actually pretty high quality in my experience and its a set of 30, so this seems like a solid deal right? For instance, Home Depot every year has the Husky equivalent of this set (and they have a worse finish/polish by the way) around Black Friday/Christmas - and they're asking like $40 for it. Oh, and that set only comes with 28 wrenches. I've bought a couple of those, but you have to wait months for them to come down to their final clearance price of $15. Either way, what I'm trying to say is, I feel like this is a good deal, whether its marked as MSRP or not. In for one.
At first I misread the title as $30 and thought it was an OK deal. At $20 it's a no-brainer.

Keep in mind there is some cloudiness around if the Kobalt handtool line will continue, so replacements may be difficult in a few years. But at $20 it's still worth it.

Yeah this is a solid price. I paid about $30 on deal for the equivalent craftsman set and i think it was only maybe 22 pieces. I may pick up an extra set to keep in my wrench bag to replace some my old rusty harbor freight wrenches.

Also, a great price if you just need to replace 1 or 2 wrenches seeing as a single can be anywhere from $5-12 bucks depending on the size anyway

I just picked up two sets. I'll likely keep one in the truck and the other in the garage.
They are very nice wrenches and better than Craftsman old or new in my opinion.

Maybe I am wrong. But I remember that wrenches that packaged this way are typically shorter (for regular wrenches) and of worse quality than a normally packaged set. Can someone confirm? The metric set is also missing 16mm and 19mm. Kind of frustrating. If someone can confirm that these wrenches are of the same quality as other Kobalt wrenches and some SAE wrenches can be used as 16 and 19mm ones, I am in. Need a set in the car. Thanks!

The set includes regular sized wrenches as well as stubbys. The quality of the wrenches seems fine. The holder will likely fall apart in a year or so.

Thanks. 5/8 inch is 15.875mm. Is there any chance a 5/8 inch wrench can work as a 'very tight fitting' 16mm? If so, the only thing missing is a 19mm. Typically, I don't see 18mm fasteners.

I'm pretty sure a 5/8 will work for ya. Lowes doesnt have a 16mm in this style.for purchase.(it is part of other sets) This is the only one i found when looking at individual wrenches. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-U...1000279067

Just got back from Lowe's. It was still in up stock, possibly going to be on the Father's Day flyer.

Their 24 piece set is normally $40, so this is definitely a steal.

They seem pretty nice to me, but I just opened them. No issues with the finish. The ends are slimmer and the handles thicker than my Husky set, which are good things in my book.

The Husky set covers 16mm and 19mm, but the Kobalt go down to lower sizes.
