Are you allowed to return the oscillating tool for the listed price if you don't want it?

I think YMMV on this. I tried it at my local Lowe's for a Greenworks 60v mower that came with a spare 2.0AH battery and they said they would refund me the receipt price of $0.

think its not like HomeDepot, its listed as a zero $0.00 item in recepit so if you return you get nothing back .... and if you return the miter saw they would require both to be returned ..so can't keep the freebie either ..

At least thats how its been handled for me in the past and bosch free tool deals

Dammit I just bought a rigid multitool for $100 (already used it) and I need a miter saw too.

Reading the listing i don't think it come with a charger or battery, this is just tool only.

Yikes 1 battery n charger is $99

Literally just bought the miter saw on 5/27, nothing about this offer in store. Definitely going to return it and repurchase if I can't get them to just give me the multitool.

One word of caution based on my past experience - Purchase the battery operated tools from the brand that has large range of tools that you can purchase with your investment in batteries. For example, Ryobi has amazing range that you could purchase couple of batteries and then purchase tool only for the items you need which is usually very cheap. I am stuck with Black and Decker as I already have few batteries from drill and the trimmer I purchased some times ago. They have limited range for the items you could use those batteries for, I am thinking craftman would be the same way.

This is definitely true and I would encourage anyone to look at the full Craftsman V20 lineup to be sure they're getting a sound investment, https://www.craftsman.com/v20.

It's worth noting that they've kept a pretty good pace of adding tools over the last few years including some brushless additions.

Since buying a 6 tool kit (w/ flashlight) in January I've added 3 additional tools and now this miter saw. I've used every single one but the miter saw and can say the quality and power is more than adequate for my needs as an average home DIY individual.

How is the miter saw in regard to both power and battery life?

I realized my last post was a bit misleading since I haven't had a chance to use the miter saw yet but there are several positive amazon reviews touching on the battery life.

I updated my previous comment.

Update: 02-29-2020
I've had this saw for over 3 months now and I've got to say that I am using it WAY more than I anticipated. I'm building a garage and this saw is so convenient, I've been using it and my plug-in Dewalt has stayed in the shed. It really is super convenient. I just grab the saw and make my cuts wherever I want, without considering power outlets. The battery lasts a really long time as well. I am bumping it up to 5 stars because it is SOOOO incredibly convenient.
Quote :
Battery life is good to very good. I have doubts it would handle listed cuts per charge, but I'd say it would get within 8-10% of that claim.
Quote :
The battery has lasted all day with about 1/3 left (I have probably made about 40 cuts).
