Good deal. After moving out of these and into managed (and yes, more expensive) switches I would only go back to unmanaged if you truly have simple network layout or as a trunk for a vlan or something.

Although I don't know what Rosewill is using as the oem on this, it's still good as a POE switch

Tempted, looks good for a starter DIY POE security camera setup. 8 cameras should be decent. I imagine you'd loops the hub to another switch, and onto a NAS for recording.

This would only support 7 cameras, one of the 8 ports has to be used for uplink.
