Who? Who are they? CL 18. My 15 at 3200MHz is faster in both bandwidth and latency. The rated speed doesn't give you the whole picture.....

I got the same one with the black heat spreader. On my 3700x it would reboot constantly and drop to 2133, even on manual. Eventually I got it working at cl16-18 -18-36 3200mhz. I decided to keep it because I didn't wanna pay restocking fees + shipping and the price was $119.

I've installed about 15 sets of Oloy memory so far for customer builds. Using two sets in both my main desktops. Rock solid.

They're a new kid on the block but the memory is quality. Check Tom's hardware and other reviews if you need more info. No opinion about customer service or support; haven't needed it thus far.

The rated speed never gives you the whole picture. They all advertise XMP max speed.

Also your CL15 @3200 might be faster in synthetic benchmarks, but in real world usage people won't notice.

As for the brand, they are relatively new. But all the reviews I have read/seen were positive.

3rd tier incompatible ram is not worth the hassle, BUY what your Mobo recommends or risk going through problems.

This is SUPER cheap yet very serviceable ram. They actually work and are more reliable than craptastic corsair lpx crap.
