Solid deal for a brand new 2 year warranty phone. It supposed to get one more Android update but who knows. Can definitely be had for cheaper used/refurbished but this is factory unlocked and new. I believe Alexa can be removed rather easily.

Also, available for used acceptable condition for 292 and mid 300's (good to very good) through Amazon warehouse. Not sure if these would qualify for 2nd year warranty (probably not but good deal if it's nice condition).

Literally bests every other non-apple mobile processor aside from the 865. Even in benchmarks the performance difference is negligible and day to day you cannot feel the difference. "Outdated" okay.
Like you'd even notice a difference in CPU performance. Let's be real. We've reached the apex in noticeable CPU performance gains. Hell, my 835 Pixel 2 XL still feels just fine. But hey if you want to throw away money to these companies, go right ahead.
They absolutely are. If all you see is Samsung and Apple you aren't a tech head at all.

Bought two of these used on eBay for $200 and $210 and have been extremely happy with the phone. It was a bit harder than normal to find a case and screen protector that I like, as we usually have Samsung flagships or Pixels, and you'll want to install a launcher to get off LG's base skin; that said the hardware itself is awesome. Battery life is good, headphone jack, wireless charging, fast processor, plenty of storage, expandable storage, fingerprint scanner (hooray!), this is a really nice phone.

Care to share your seller? I'm so leery of ebay but with a good reference maybe I'd pick one up too

Android 10 update a few months back disabled editing of the APN. So all the G8 I took over to Laos became useless. This was a Sprint unlocked version so I'm not sure if it applies but just a caution. Neither Sprint nor LG provided any help other than point fingers back and forth. I bomb the sht out of both if I could to be honest.

On the att version you can still add new APNs in Android 10.

FYI The Amazon version of the LG G8 does not have a google assistant button. Makes sense since it's an Alexa phone. Phone cases will have an extra cutout for a button that doesn't exist.
