Is there another 85+W charger for lower price? Your comment doesn't help.
IMHO, people shouldn't be a paying a premium for old tech. GaN chargers are here are much smaller and offer faster charging. I expect regular chargers to be clearanced out.

I totally agree we shouldn't be overpaying for "old tech" but these types of chargers are routinely at 50+ dollars. Still doesn't dismiss the post here. If anyone can offer a better deal. post it. no use talking about it and extending a thread without useful information.
Hoping that some day we will be able to go beyond the 100w PD limit into 200W PD for USB-C so that we can power more powerful laptops some day using just type C. GaN+SiC Charging is getting extremely cheap really quick.

100W will be plenty for laptops, possibly forever. As processors mature, they use less power, not more, and 100W is already overkill for non-gaming applications. High charge rates also lessen battery longevity.
It's so annoying how they design every charger exactly wrong. 87 watts with only one usb c port? I'd like simplify by having one charger that can charge up my laptop fast, or my laptop and phone, or laptop and wireless buds, phone and wireless buds. The point is to be as convenient and time saving as possible. They always make them so you have to do one then the other. Then they'll put two ports on a 40 watt, so you can do two things... slowly. It's like they are always trying to f*** with you.

It's a balance. They're not currently able to make dual ports without making the charger so large you'd think why is it so big. But the tech will get there. Just not currently possible to be powerful, compact, and offer multiple ports.

Wow
considering an 87w with second USB port (type a)
was $32 a month ago with 1TU I'm a little surprised.
(given no cable included last time)

Please tell that to Intel.
