There's really no reason you need to use persulfate denture cleaners when there are several varieties available that are persulfate-free, such as DentaSoak and Fresh Guard. If you would prefer to save even more money you could just use a squirt of liquid castile soap instead – it's all natural, safe, and works just as well as any other chemically-based cleaning compound. So while this may be a "good deal", it's certainly not "good for you".
I got a Ukoke machine that was well-rated for $30. It works best with those tabs. I tried mouthwash and or dish soap, but there'd still be gunk. With the tabs, they're so clear and no gunk left behind.

Well you aren't suppose to eat it. My used motor oil looks like delicious chocolate syrup, but I'm responsible enough to store it safely.
I'm sure most people rinse off afterwards whatever they use it with. I'm no doctor/chemist/whatever, but I'm pretty sure the residual leftover on the item cleaned won't be enough to cause any issues.
Still on sale. Went OOS. Now it's back.
