#2 The ones that ARE on sale are not a great deal., I have bought many within the last six months at lower prices on amazon.
As an example the very first item The Dewalt DW8062B5 currently $5.99 I bought back on Dec 23rd for $2.99.
Dewalt DW1587 currently on sale for $10.98, I bought on Nov 21st for $5.06

I bought both the 6" and 12" extension from Amazon 4 days ago for half the price they are now. While most of your reply is accurate this scenario doesn't fit.
To the contrary, Camel says the lowest price in the past three months for the 12 inch has been $6.64 and I need them now....

True but the world is a much different place now. Don't expect 2019 price points to come back anytime soon.
