Not a bad fridge but doesn't have a water or ice dispenser on the outside. Says it got some in the freezer though.

Also backorderd to June 27th.

Yeah, Google Samsung appliances and decide for yourself. I'll never buy a Samsung appliance again.

Had a Maytag washer for 15 + years. Replaced with Samsung and it broke after 4 yrs. The fix guy, whom also my next door neighbor, told me don't ever buy any Samsung appliances. That what he got the most serviced calls for. Ya, Samsung appliances suck.

The bad thing about appliance buying, so few brands currently exist and you can find bad things about all of them.

Samsung sucks so much I filed a complaint with the BBB about my fridge and got a refund check (today actually) because it's such a POS.

Did research about fridges and basically every brand has a lot of complaints. Manufacturers design them not to last. I ended up ordering a samsung through costco, comes with a 4yr warranty, but im thinking about adding another 3 through square trade.

Yes, but it's Energy Star compliant!
(pretty much like every appliance sold now)

You can console yourself with that, and the resultant $30-$50 total energy savings over its short life, while it's on its way to the landfill.

And try not to think about all the energy it takes to manufacture a replacement refrigerator, because that's a tad depressing.

Samsung: nice monitors and hdtvs

I have this fridge for several years (yes, same model number) I do not recall what I paid for it. The ice maker broke about 2 years after ownership. I also had to perform the fix to the defrost mechanism due to water and ice accumulation under the deli tray (google it). For those reasons I'd recommend an extended warranty of some sort. Otherwise it performs well and has good storage space and shelf adjustments.

I had a Samsung in the house I moved into. Had to go through them and eventually got a refund because the fridge sucked. Ice maker wouldn't work/made shitty ice. coils on the back would freeze over due to inside moisture and it would be loud as hell due to the fan hitting the ice build up.

I would avoid Samsung at all costs, I haven't heard great things about LG either, we ended up getting a kitchenaid with our refund and so far so good.
