I remember these. The MH510 used to come in more colors though but they were a bit tacky looking. That was when headphones were treated more like fashion accessories than audio gear. They also went down in price since then but I don't see a lot of people talking about these.
I'd like some nice headphones for monitoring and to use while recording and to just have on my computer. Reviews of these seem pretty good but not certain.
Uh those cost more buy a factor of 2-4 times. I already have some philips shp9500 and some samson sr850. I went ahead and bought these mh510 to have some decent closed back over ear headphones. I am 38 and my ears are not special anymore or probably ever. Good enough for me

Hmmm... Maybe words got out and price went up? I swear to you the last V6 I bought I paid $55 on sale.
MDR7506s are a good choice for critical listening in short bursts, but I can't keep them on my head for very long. They are uncomfortable and intentionally a bit brash. I prefer my Status Audio CB-1s or Samson SR-950s for tracking or recreational listening (although the Samsons have a fair amount of handling noise). They both have bigger drivers than the 7506s and higher output The Status Audios are the most comfortable headphones I've ever owned. I don't need another set of cans, but I'm tempted by the MH510s.
I use 7506s but CAD is a real brand that makes good value stuff that works. They probably don't have as big of an ad budget and can keep their prices down. I use their wireless IEM transmitter/receiver and it's just fine.
I bought the MH510's and they're great, but after a period of listening... 1-2 hours... my ears start to hurt, and the pain only increases the longer I wear them. I have a big head, and big ears... Should I just be buying earbuds??? I need something for the work day sitting in front of a computer...

Sony what? Mdr 7506?
Sure, or V6. They are used by legends.
