You're going to go for one of the hammer drill and impact driver combos. If you're drilling concrete or brick, you'll need a hammer drill with masonry bits.
As far as which free tool to go with, that's up to you. If you work on cars or lawn equipment or anything like that, the 3/8 in ratchet is awesome. I don't have the m12 multitool but my Rigid equivalent comes in handy a lot more than I ever expected it to. The other one I see there is the floodlight that I use a lot. It's pretty bright and has fairly strong magnets or a very strong clamp to hold it in place. Definitely good to have around for working under the hood or in dark places or keep it in the trunk of your car for if you get a flat at night. Great light all around.
I was always a Dewalt guy and have a lot of Rigid and Ryobi tools too but I've been sold on the M12 line and they've become my go-to tools lately. Compact, plenty of power, good build quality, and affordable for the most part. I can't comment on the warranty as I've never needed to use it. A minor downside is that the battery meter is on the tool instead of the battery so you have to put the battery into a tool to check its charge level.
This is why we can't have nice things...just giving you a hard time.

Can you still go the in-store route and return the free item?
It doesn't really work.. the items are sold as a package, and it's all or nothing. Selling on eBay has worked for me. Maybe a bit more hassle than the in store return, but about the same outcome.

More batteries would be nice - any deals? Otherwise the driver + ratchet looks good because I think I'd get way more use out of the impact driver and I've been coveting the ratchet. Already got a 20v Dewalt drill that doesn't get a ton of use. Any comments on the SURGE hydraulic stuff?
