Sure, but if you can instead of adding to your floorstanders try mounting in front height position on the wall above your front towers, angled down towards MLP. Will result in much better height effects than reflective
These are killer speakers. I have 3 pairs in my Atmos setup - front Atmos, and side and rear surround. I paid $500 for each pair, too!
Holy crap.. what kind of receiver are you using? I am guessing a 15.2 receiver... those cost like 20k or something..

Trying to decide between these and the RP 500 series. I have a pair of polk signature series towers and currently have pioneer upfiring but they're overpowered by the polk. Will these pair well, think its better to get these or worth it to spend more for the 500 series?
you can try to adjust the levels and run the enabled speakers "hot" to see if there is an improvement. when i do system calibrations i find a many of my customers like it about 2-3 dB hot. It is likely that there maybe a set up issue (Ceiling height / angle, speaker position / reflection, etc.) which means you may not get any better results. Changing speakers is generally not the root cause.

Hi Guys,

Just want to check. I currently got Klipsch reference theater 5.1 and just wondering these would be a good addition as front surround speakers on the wall?

Thanks, Adyssey on my Denon receiver detects as +1.5db and 40hz crossover. Does that sound accurate?

Do your speakers have the aluminum or titanium tweeters. These would be a better match to the ones with titanium tweets

i don't know what equipment / speakers you have but it is unlikely your atmos speakers are rated to 40Hz. So that sounds like it is not an optimal / accurate setting.

These are last years model (2015). The newer 2018 model is better and right now on Amazon for $229.

Those are not coming up at $229 and they are Reference not Reference Premier which is a step up (according to what I've read).

Can someone confirm?

the manufacturer does not even officially have a frequency response spec. they only list "Conforms". you have to dig into other manufacturer documents to find out the information on crossover setting is buried very deep in those documents. the crossover should be set to a MINIMUM of 150 Hz, see attached screenshot

That was what I read too so I got these instead of R-41sa. Quality is awesome and I am using these as front height speakers. I am sure price of these are great too for $200 something.
