That is fraud. Best case is it's extremely unethical and will only cause HD to get even more strict and make it more difficult for regular people to return stuff. Please don't try this.

Essentially, yes. The last few times the battery starter kit has been the 3.0ah HP batteries vs these regular 4.0ah batteries. But, these 4.0ah are at least the higher end p197 batteries vs the older p108. Better internals/cells.

Yes, you can do this with just a circular saw and a drill. Few tips:
- Make sure you pre-drill your holes or else your wood will split when you put in your screws
- Cedar pickets are affordable and they're naturally good for outdoor applications

I dont see hpw the math add sup in cart for me. I got 2 of the batteries and 2 free tools. It shows the tools as free but also shows a price for them. The total should be about 200 + tax but i see $288
Pricing likely hasn't kicked in yet 6/11 might be the the actually start date. So those are the right combinations but not currently active they will be $99 each once live or could work later today

Do you guys really need 2 extra batteries? I assume everyone has one already.
I find I never really have quite enough since I have a ton of ancillary (fan, lighting, vacuums, etc.) and outdoor Ryobi tools that I use regularly.

I got the P238 driver brushless already but drill bits don't fit in it. Think it's only 3/8
I would just go hammer then if it is roughly the same price as the normal drill. I have used mine to drill into my concrete foundation and it did the job very well. I have the p214, only real downside is it is signicantly heavier than my normal drill.

Great deal. I just finished building a playset with ryobi tools and cant be happier with how they performed. I had to borrow some batteries. Obviously bigger batteries weigh more. I borrowee some 3mah and they weren't too bad for impact driver and circular saws. Only had to hold up above my head for the rooftop and tarp screwed in with washers. Bought the stapler because ide rather staple it on next time or reupholster some chairs that are long overdue. Thanks for this amazing deal!

Anyone have experience with the cordless battery leaf blower? The cfm is 200 but I use mine mostly to blow grass clippings after mowing. Not looking to move any leaves since I don't have any big trees around.

Is the hammer drill overkill for basic needs? Was holding out for a factory blemished P208 or P252 drill for a good price, but neither are an option for this deal...
A hammer drill is for masonry work. Like if you had to drill into brick or concrete. Not appropriate for woodworking.

I think that was it. I just went back into the cart and the price of the tool is discounted so its working now. Im getting the router, been wanting that for a while.

Is this the Ryobi deal everyone waits for every year with Home Depot? Looks like a great deal since I am looking for some tools but would like for someone more knowledgeable to chime in
No, the mythical 2 tool + 2 battery combo for $99 is what tightwads like me are waiting for again. It was last November that it occurred and there were brushless tools as well unlike the deal listed here. Although the 4ah battery deal here is a nice touch, I much prefer option of a second tool and brushless varieties. See what was available: https://slickdeals.net/f/13513252-2-pack-ryobi-18-volt-one-lithium-hp-3-0-ah-batteries-2-bonus-tools-various-99-free-shipping?src=SiteSearch

Got the Fan. Remember, once you place the order, you can go in and cancel the batteries if you want and get the pro rated tool. It pro rates the tool to whatever discounted cost it is. Or you can sell the batteries separately for probably more money.
