Ugh none of these HD/Lowes deals are ever anywhere close for me. They are still over pricing the google devices after the firesale a few wks ago. They marked down but barely.

Bought 4 from a local store via online pickup, they seem well built but the screws for the foot rest leave a lot to be desired. The padding on these does not match what you would imagine based on how they look... very hard. I painted the wood on mine darker and am overall happy with them.

Don't suppose you have a solution for the foot rest? I'm thinking of adding some wood glue to add strength.

I haven't really bothered trying. Wood glue would definitely help but they sit pretty loosely as they aren't a tight fit in the notched holes they slide into when assembling. If you can fill the hole around it enough it might work, maybe placing shims in addition to the screws and glue.

i put mine together this weekend. the footrest screws are a bit flimsy and don't do a great job (They have a coarse thread), but you can swap out the screws easily for better ones.
