Same price on their website[waterdropfilter.com]with free shipping (4-8 business days). Sale ends June 14th.
I had looked into this model sometime back since it's always sponsored in the search results on Amazon. The reviews are comically fake. Not NSF rated, I'd avoid this like the plague.

These are all guesstimates. It really depends on how much water you use and how dirty your water is to begin with. Your tap water might be 125tds but someone in Arizona may be looking at 600tds. They also never mention chloramines, which is getting more common in water districts. It takes a special carbon filter to remove them fully.
Bingo. I had same filters in my previous address RO for a decade, LOL. TDS was 2ppm. That snowpack water tho.
I have no idea where to start with water purification at home. All I know is I need something for drinking and the whole house. The kitchen sink gets stuck with all sorts of lime or calcium, and I even noticed that my new garden hose has started to show white films or something at the coupling, and it's not much more than a month old.
My brother recently purchased a whole house system and it cost thousands more than I expected so I'm looking for a DIY installable system. Do you all think piecing it together with deals over time is worth it over buying an entire system?
Looks like a very compact and convenient system if you want easy annual filter changes, but I still prefer the standard 5-stage system myself which is about $100 cheaper initially (on sale) and 1/4 the price for filters. Installation is probably the same difficulty either way.

Don't piece it together. Kits are very easy and this model here is probably the easiest but most expensive route. Take a look at apec and ispring 5 stage setups (and their clones) as well. Search here for past deals. Those systems all use the same generic filters.
I've had this system for 3 months now. It works great, water tastes good, and set up took about 30 minutes. I would've preferred an iSpring 7 stage RO system but this RO system is ideal for those with limited under the counter space. This was the smallest tankless system I could find.
