Tongfang made great chasis using magnesium alloy for Motile 14 :-D but Technologically challenged people will never know that
I'm enjoying my IPS panel 1080p, Quadcore, 2.5lb for $220+tax
All my laptops have always been 720p so I don't think I'd be bothered by it. I'd really like one thats 1080p but I don't want to pay over $300. Seems like so many people pay for expensive laptops, good cheap ones are rare.

I still recommend refurb motile 14 at eBay vipoutlet $300. 1080p IPS, 256GB, 8GB RAM, Ryzen 5 quad core 3500u. 2.5lb only. Windows 10.
Don't buy garbage people.
Perhaps I just was unlucky with a dud. Fortunately they did free returns with no hassles.

Got one for $220.
Two more for $280.
Motile 14 for life. 2.5lb goodness. Literally, a steal compare to this garbage.
I bought a couple refurb HPs from them instead so I could drop an extra 8GB in both plus a cheap SSD in the one that came with a HDD. vipoutlet is awesome, their refurbs are top notch, can't even tell they aren't new.
That said their prices are a bit high right now. If you can wait until closer to BF/CM, that is prime laptop price time. Something like this will be $200 by then. This might be decent price for the moment, though I'd personally prefer Ryzen for the superior GPU.
