I stopped in my local Walmart to grab something for work and spotted one on the clearance shelf listed at $259. I asked the cashier to check the price and it scanned at $89.

Been in the market for a nice monitor and at $89 this was too hard to pass up, good luck!

QA Note: Inventory and prices are regional, so YMMV

Shows limited stock in my store. I'm sure that means they don't have it, but it is listed at $89...

I really would like to know why brickseek deals are treated like normal serious deal around here. Outside of the OP and maybe the occasional lucky person, it is almost 100% of the time an out of stock item most everywhere or worse, brickseek has the stock wrong\some employee jumps on it and scoops them all up and it wastes someone's time.

Imo, Slickdeals should relegate these to their own forum board so as to not clutter everyone else's searches and views with it who does not want to deal with it. If people want to go to that forum and chase the proverbial wild goose fine, but at least everyone else does not have to or get distracted by it.

My 2 cents.

A deals, a deal. I know sometimes when I go to stores I do a search on sd for the store name see if there's anything in there I could be picking up since I'm already there. As long as it helps someone.. Why not?

Because most of the time it is not valid and not applicable to the overwhelming majority of people. Just put it in a separate forum imo and if you want to search there, you still can and nothing stops you. Meanwhile, everyone else who doesn't can continue to search in hot deals. An offer a handful of people get (best case) that is likely based off false reporting on briskseek or out of date reporting because some employee scoops it up beforehand is not a hot deal imo. It generally just wastes everyone's time imo.
