Before you pull the trigger, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you to check out their reddit to see what's up

Tldr, lots of reliability issues, disconnection issues, and basically software.
In my experience, the quality and reliability of the Wyze cameras and sensors have been decreasing over the past few months. I have four cameras and two sets of sensors. I wouldn't recommend them at this point. The future of their person detection is also uncertain as they may end up putting it behind a subscription.
The in house person detection is working pretty good - I've been on the beta firmware for a few months now - https://support.wyzecam.com/hc/en...-Detection

Only a good deal if you absolutely need everything in the starter pack. I already have a couple of Wyze products so I would love to have cam + bulbs only promo instead.

I like the cameras but they haven't been able to load the new firm ware to do rtsp. I like the sensors, but integrating then with anything but other wyze hardware gets pretty hacky. I can't imagine installing wifi smart bulbs, but wyze had been running a promotion on them so I got some for free. The outlets use wifi, a nonstarter... I'd hold off and buy the parts you need instead of the kit.

Looks nice. Wonder if the total price of package is better than the deals I got over time and probably it should.
I'm not concern about security at all.

I got some Wyze sensors in a kit a few months ago and they've never worked right for me. My regular v1 and v2 cams are still good. My motorized rotating ones have very poor audio and microphone if that matters to you, otherwise they're still working well. As long as you're using the cams for basic indoor stuff you're good. A standard Wyze cam paired with a V-tech audio monitor set has been a better baby cam than the $200 Amazon set I ordered and hated.

Stick with their cams only.

Just fair warning anything bought on their website has some crazy amount of shipping costs.

Basically doubles any price on the website outside of the kits.

You are better off buying stuff off amazon through their wyze amazon account.

I am not sure what reliability issues are being talked about, I use my Wyze cameras multiple times daily and have few, if any, issues. I just bought some of their bulbs and they seem to work well too. If I had not just invested in the bulb pack I would probably have bought this instead.

I read everyone's comments of how good this camera is for the price. I ended buying one and it was great at first, but lately what it does it will detect with no problems, but after a couple of days it'll stop and never do it again. I've tried restarting but it keeps happening.

Everyone bashing Wyze over here like I have contact sensors to trigger outlets in my bathroom to turn on the light and space heater. The other contact I have for the basement with the two bulbs and an outlet also to turn on a space heater lol The motion sensor is setup near the front door so if it opens I get a notification.

Zero problems and does exactly what I want it to do.
