Thinking of returning the Amazon $600 flex for this but it's a tougher decision as there's no Costco anywhere near me in Buffalo.

Too bad they don't offer an internet-only membership.

Looks like a membership is $60, or just take the 5% hit, is that right?
I forget if they have a 30 day or a no hassle guarantee to refund membership, but it is there. Alternatively, I'd just ask a friend who has a costco membership to order it for you.

Try adding it to your cart. It should reflect the discount.

Although the original comment is poor, I find your statement to be a bit facetious. Ultimately, you need to start from somewhere if you want to move away from Chinese manufacturing. If you buy from Lenovo, then 100% of your money goes to a Chinese company, and you are buying a PC that is top-down made in China, down to decisions on software. Feel free to correct my admittedly limited knowledge on this matter, it's just the kind of feeling I've been having recently.
100%, huh? What about their operational center located in Morrisville, NC? The world is far more complicated than you think. As long as the foreign company has US staff and presence, a purchase supports US workers. HP, in this case has more US workers, but how much of their profits do they offshore? It may all be moot.

Definitely a good question. I let my membership lapse a few years back for a bit and they would not honor the road hazard on the tires I had installed there without an active membership.
I had bought a treadmill on my daughters Costco account. When I had problems with it I tried to exchange it but her membership lapsed. They had us pay to get the membership reinstated and they exchanged the treadmill. YMMV.

Wtf. You should wear only US made stuff then. I'm sure you'll be walking around butt naked all day everyday. Ridiculous.
Only replying because I drive the same pos. We created this scenario where almost nothing is made in USA. American giant apparel will clothe you if you are naked.. they also back their stuff up with lifetime warranty too. Just had a hoodie replaced a few weeks ago after I got it in 2006. Yes it's a $110 hoodie. It feels like quality, like a 2000 Canadian goose! I got it as a gift from my wife and I love it. Went looking to get another and found out about warranty. It's the oldest piece of clothing I own and wear every season.

I'm curious about the longevity of HP Envy laptop line. Specs seem pretty good so far, though the weight of 2.05kg is a bit on the heavier side for a 2-in-1 laptop. Does anyone know if there is any extra NVME/SATA slot on this laptop?
Not sure if anyone replied but there is a open SATA bay but requires a hp cable that wasn't included. Heavy? Feels perfect. The Dim 1080p screen is what needs to be upgraded
