Same deal offered on Tylertool.com. I'm very much tempted but think the Craftsman 20v miter may be a better fit for my DIY needs.

Lowest I've seen this (tool only) is around $225.

Agreed. The Craftsman is the same exact tool but red. There is a deal with a free tool at Lowe's now. So you get the miter saw kit (comes with 4Ah battery) and a tool of your choice for $200 + tax.

Got the Craftsman since I couldn't find a deal on DeWalt.

It looks like the detent system is pretty different, as well as the dust collection systems and table rigidity. I think over time, the DeWalt will be more accurate, but the Craftsman is a heck of a deal right now with the addition of the free tool.

Soooo.. the same but the craftsman weighs 22 lbs and the dewalt weighs 30 lbs.... yellow must weigh a lot more... dimensions show 20 x 25x16 vs. 21x23x12 also.

What's the return policy for CPO outlets. Really bad actually.

Better to buy Craftsman at lowes for peace of mind.

They are pretty much the same saw.

CPO will also screw you on warranty claims.

Dewalt and Craftman saws are not the "exact same saw". There are obvious external differences so most likely there are internal differences as well. I doubt Stanley BD uses their best motors and/or premium cell batteries in the Crafstman line. Craftsman may be a better buy for some but don't fool yourself into thinking you're getting the same exact tool for 33% less.

All warranty claims I've done with Dewalt do not involve the retailer at all. Just provided Dewalt the serial number of the tool, didn't require proof of purchase at all.
