costco is currently running a sale on these. seems to have about every feature the 6800u had, plus a few upgrades. brondell is a pretty well known brand in bidets.
i was able to use a costco membership, but even without being signed in it seemed to let me check out. unsure if there are added fees.

sorry, no photo. costco's website wouldnt let me save an image to my computer, and it seems to be a costco exclusive, so i couldnt find an image elsewhere.
thanks and thumbs up. when I moved I had to install my round brondell swash 1000 on to an elongated toilet. works, but kind of ghetto. love brondell and this looks like a great deal to get an elongated version. in terms of model, it appears this is a slight downgrade to the S-1000, but at least it is newer and backed by costco
I have the Swash CS1000 from Costco. Looking for another, anyone know the differences?
so brondell seems to have bad descriptions and are hard to compare, but comparing what mine(im op) has to the swash cs1000 page, which doesnt tell me much, the differences i see are:1700 is tank vs 1000 being on demand heat. 1700 has presets and lights, 1000 doesnt have either. the 1000 has the deoderize. idk if the 1700 does or not.
1700 has a basic panel attatched allowing basic wash functions if the remote dies or you cant find it.
would love someone more knowledgable to step in and answer you though. im new to the higher end bidets.

i was just looking in to this, since I'm replacing the 1000, though as stated above it is because i need an elongated seat
the 1000 appears to be a higher end model, with a 3 year warranty instead of 1 year. this is not so much an issue when purchasing from costco
the 1000 has dual nozzles with on-demand nozzle sterilization, vs the single nozzle of the 1700
besides that, i didn't see much difference. the 1700 is newer, also has continuous water heating, and adds a new "strong" wash function, which is similar to bio-bidet's "vortex" AKA enema. though, the 1000 at its most narrow spray setting and highest pressure also worked in that capacity

per the costco page as well as the spec sheet and instruction manual, it is a "hybrid" continuous water heating, which is important for me as tank-only bidets run out of warm water before the cycle finished haha
the 1000 also has a basic panel attached. no presets but it does have a power/mode light that is always on and basically serves as a night light

I have the brondell 900. A relative purchased the CL1700. I don't have a comprehensive review for you other than, the CL1700 is an inferior product. The remote is not as responsive and the bidet stream was weaker/less full. There is a reason the CL series has more options for less.

thanks for the info, that's a downer to hear. oh well, at least costco has a good return policy. if it really sucks i'll just keep my round 1000 on an elongated toilet

ok i've been debating between this or the 6800U
is this same or better then the 6800U?
i went with this as the 6800u is no longer on sale, but if it was still $200, id get the 6800u. i didnt have time to wait to see if the U would go on sale again as my gf mistakenly ordered the 6800(non u) for my birthday, and i know if i didnt find something available now at a good price, the one she got me wouldnt be returned.
