Walmart sent 2 items and didn’t charge

I ordered something off of walmarts website and received the notification on my phone that my card was charged a few hours later. 5 days later I get the item, along with an extra one, at my door. Both had the same shipping stickers and numbers attached to them and were in their own boxes.
I double checked the order history and confirmed I only ordered 1. The history also had my card as the payment methods still.
I also checked my credit card app and saw that there was no charge from Walmart now. Not even in pending. I called my card company and asked if they saw anything for this amount around that date and they said no.
So I got 2 ~$200 items for "free" as of right now. What are the next steps I should take or watch out for? It's a really weird situation.

If it was a $5 or less item, I think I'd just forget about it since the hassle of returning and restocking wouldn't be worth it to you or Walmart. For a $200 item, I'd contact Walmart and arrange to return one of them at Walmart's expense.
Cheers!
To be fair, It was like a $10 item and it was a quantity of like 20 pairs.... Amazon Warehouse "Good" or "Like New" condition... just repackaged.... and the first package was short of the 20 pairs... The second package was also slightly short as well. But, the two of them together made more than 20 pairs so I called it even.
The weird thing was that the order had UPS tracking (before Amazon's own delivery service) to my address, but the package arrived via FedEx... I thought that was a bit odd.... and then, maybe 30 minutes later, the UPS guy shows up and at that point Amazon finally declared my order delivered.
If all your paperwork shows "1", then no big deal.

There ain't no cure for stupid.
I agree with you, I wouldn't pay to ship it back, especially at 100lbs.
I always play fair with any vendor and expect them to play fair with me.
