Just read a news release when I was trying to find some product info:

June 16th, 2020

Guangzhou Powecom Labor Insurance Supplies Co., Ltd appoints www.bonafidemasks.com , a division of Ball Chain Mfg. Co., Inc. as the new premier distributor for our FDA Authorized KN95 mask products in the USA.

FDA Appendix A: Authorized Imported, Non-NIOSH Approved Respirators Manufactured in China (Updated: June 17, 2020) [fda.gov]

The unit price isn't cheap: $2.4 each and shipping fee is kind of high: around $14 per order via UPS ground, although you can order more to cut down both unit price and shipping cost per unit.

However, this may be the first time we know we can get a quality KN95 on FDA authorization list from a trustful vendor which is endorsed by manufacturer.

I only use a kn95 face mask once and throw it away after i take it off... Not worth the risk to save 25 cents...

Guess they just wanted to cover the shipping cost if majority of people only buy one pack w/ free shipping code.

How many times can one mask be reused? Do you guys wash it between usages?
You shouldn't wash these like you would a cloth mask.

Thanks. How did you find this code? Guessed? Lol
Just entered and it worked. Call it a guess. LOL

It's a very common code along with shipfree.

The meltblown fibers used in one-time use face mask are electrically charged to fill voids. Harmful particles/virus/etc that is too small to block are then electrostatically captured in the meltblown layers.

Everytime you use it, it will capture those particles/virus and it will slowly losing those electrostatically capture capability. So after probably 6-8 hours of use, should throw those one time use face mask away since it no longer able to capture those small particles/virus electrostatically. And that's also the reason you can't wash one time use face mask since the meltblown layer may be damaged from cleaning and particles may pass through.

Here's the image that show what happen before and after the meltblown fiber filter dust and how small particles are electrostatically captured.

My 81 year old mother needs to go to the doctor in July. I guess this is safe as she can get.

Thanks OP.

Don't wash these...it will weaken the electrostatic effect and filter less. Maybe put them on a rotation schedule by letting them sit.

Also, check your masks carefully. I ordered a pack of 10 from NEHydro and one mask was not stitched well at the top and I could see the layers.
I'm starting to have concerns about the quality of these. Out of the 10 pack I ordered I've now seen the stitching coming apart at the top on about 3 of them and I can see the layers. Might not continue with these. I've used them for under 30 mins. The seal is pretty good but I always try and make it fit better using the nose clip. Perhaps this pressure of adjusting the clip and overall tight fit is breaking the stitching up but it shouldn't be this way.

Curious if anyone else has seen this?

This is worrying. My 3M KN95s are solid. I use them sparingly for maybe an hour at a time, but they have not shown any wear and tear after multiple uses and adjusting. I guess 3M is is still the way to go.

Yeah, not sure where to get 3M KN95. Surprisingly the Snowjoe KN95 ones aren't as tight fitting but never tore like this.

Are you talking about these masks specifically from this retailer or general kn95?

I'm talking about Powecom. They may meet CDC regs, but their quality control seems suspect compared to 3M.

"General" KN95s available at your local store or online are most likely garbage.
