Just read a news release when I was trying to find some product info:

June 16th, 2020

Guangzhou Powecom Labor Insurance Supplies Co., Ltd appoints www.bonafidemasks.com , a division of Ball Chain Mfg. Co., Inc. as the new premier distributor for our FDA Authorized KN95 mask products in the USA.

Shopping link:

FDA Appendix A: Authorized Imported, Non-NIOSH Approved Respirators Manufactured in China (Updated: June 17, 2020) [fda.gov]

The unit price isn't cheap: $2.4 each and shipping fee is kind of high: around $14 per order via UPS ground, although you can order more to cut down both unit price and shipping cost per unit.

However, this may be the first time we know we can get a quality KN95 on FDA authorization list from a trustful vendor which is endorsed by manufacturer.

I am providing the aforementioned and forthcoming information based on online research, in order to help people who may need quality masks during current pandemic. Let us know their response. Hard to imagine they take returns after delivered. Pretty much all stores I been too have signs saying "no refund no exchange"
They replied right back and I'm waiting for their returns worker to contact me to exchange them fo the ear loop style

Just received my headband style and I feel not much difference than the ear loop...the strap do feel cheaply made and may stretch in times. I rather spend the extra cost of the headband style toward to getting more of the ear loop with additional nose foam from Amazon.

Should be the same and it's $27 vs $29 from bonafide?

If the picture is right on the Office Depot site, these will not have the sticker--the Office Depot picture is the same as the picture of the old version poly bag on the Powecom site (the bags they used before they put the sticker on). It's up to you whether that makes a difference or not for $2 (both have free shipping right now).

For quantity of 10 mask but for 50 mask or more..cost $2 per mask. I'm waiting for the price of 200 mask to drop below $1 per mask.

Good to see more legit sources selling. Perhaps more competition will drive down the prices some.

I also received my headband order. Frankly I'm disappointed. The straps look just like those on earloops. IMHO, headband masks should come with strong straps, otherwise it can't provide good seal. So the only benefit of soft headband mask is sparing your ears. For those earloops Powcome, with the helps from nose foam and ear saver (mask buckle), I can easily achieve good seal/tightness very close to my NIOSH approved N95s. But I got no luck w/ headband Powecom. I haven't figured out how to tighten up the straps. Guess I'll pass...
If you have a Lowe's in your area check online for the Deshang n95's. They have them at several Southern California locations around me. There was a slick deal post recently (got a lot of down votes for what ever reason) but I left a detailed review comparing them to the ear loop masks from powecom and snow joe. The review was the very last post in that thread. They are similar to these, but I've been impressed with them

So do we have confirmation from Powecom that this seller is legit? I'm not claiming either way and I don't feel like reading through the whole thread. Would be grateful if some people could tell me.

It is all about corruption and the 2k toliet bowls. In trying to make government spending more transparent, they went with the bidding system where everyone has a fair share of getting a contract. This usually leads to the lowest bidders winning. So Government A will ask for X amount of masks. The person with the lowest wins.

In the private sector it is worse. Why do you think hospitals charge 10x for Tylenol, it is to make a profit and cover cost of those without insurance.

Same with masks. I would pay $4 a mask now but know that I will get my $1 a mask in a few months than pay $2.50 dollar a mask for 2 years or 3 years, even if it is made in the US, as long as I get what I want that meets my needs (N95 certified), I do not care.

Remember when this first started, people were complaining about "I use to buy this N95 mask for less than a dollar. No way will I pay $2 dollars. Then it was $3, then $5" Now, you can not even get N95 masks" We now turn to KN95.

Again .. No way will I buy KN95, that is Chinese. Now, I'll buy anything as long as it is on that FDA list.

Almost reminds me of the "I will never drink pee" but during a Hurricane .. you got one of those fancy straws that filter stuff? Let me try it with my pee or in any environment where water is scarce
This answer doesn't come close to answering his question - which is why couldn't the govt subsidize the manufacturing of some masks in the US. The federal government was in fact offered the opportunity to buy some already manufactured in the US, and balked:

From years before the pandemic even started:
https://www.dallasnews.com/busine...s-hot-air/

To communications with Dr. Rick Bright of BARDA, who the federal government decided to taint (like so many other scientists) because they looked stupid after not heeding his warnings:
https://www.motherjones.com/coron...shortages/

Instead, for some reason Jared Kushner got the task of ramping up medical supply procurement. And we all know how that went - PPE shortages for medical personnel, and the average American has to fend for themselves like we're some third world country.

The Trump administration screwed this one up in the worst and most complete way possible.
