Just FYI it's a pain, you have to find the right rep who knows the right form and channels to go through, hopefully that's changed but it took me months of on/off attempts to get my note8 unlocked when I bought it from Samsung and 'branded' T-Mobile.
I'm currently trying to find a new phone as my old one died.I am luckily on tmobile but does this have all of the tmobile bands besides 5G? I would have ideally liked to get a 5G phone as my area has good coverage but I'm not sure if it is worth it so I'll prob end up with a cheaper phone.
Kind of don't want to get a one plus though as I've heard horror stories about the QA on them.
While this is a decent price for what you get, why is this a deal? It's been like this for at least a couple weeks, including the extra stuff.
It's on the T-Mobile sw channel meaning it should be delayed relative to the official OP channel (though you may be able to flash to the other channel). It seemed like a bit more work than I personally wanted to do, but maybe others enjoy the tinkering.
Also, with the OP Z/"Nord" being announced rumored on July 10 with a slightly slower yet still very capable 765G cpu which supports 5G, which is rumored to be in the $300-$400 range (I'm a bit skeptical), it seems like a small wait to confirm the new model is worth waiting for.

The listed bands for the TMobile version are 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28/29/30/32/41/66/71.
So it should have everything for T-mobile, including the newish B71 band, except for 5g.
Not really a deal, it's been listed at this price before OP8 released. I'd rather wait to see what the OPZ is coming out with. Come on one plus, you used to be a flagship killer...
Incorrect information. The phone just can't be unlocked. You first have to have a tmobile account and then the phone must be activated on that account for 40 days to activate.

From what I have seen that only applies to devices purchased directly from T-Mobile since this device isn't that does not apply here.

Not true. I purchased this exact phone 13 days ago, under "settings" then "WiFi/internet" then "sim/network" now scroll down to network unlock and open that, I did that and it shows my device is permanently unlocked.
I don't use tmobile, never contacted them either.
The phone has been on At&t from the day it arrived.
As for whether this is really a "deal" is all up to your own interpretation; the 8gb Ram Tmobile (fully unlocked) Oneplus 6t is available for $349 from BH, the specs are nearly identical and I've been using them both day in and day out and it's impossible to notice a real difference in these devices. Save yourself $150 and buy the 6t.
-before someone chimes in with the
7t using the 855 plus and the faster 90hz display and the few other differences "on paper" in real world use the only noticeable difference is yes sure the 90hz display is noticeably better but is that worth the $150 difference? For my side by side comparison with real world use over 13 days, no way.

Thinking this or the 7 Pro. Can't decide. Have a 5T that has been awesome for years. Original Oneplus One owner too.
