I've been looking for a canopy this size, is this a reputable brand or retailer?
I would expect the cheapest of materials to be used. Such that if you really baby it maybe it will last a little while but having seen other Phi Villa offerings most of it is basically the lowest quality you can shop for for such things. No personal experience with their products, again that is just my impression while browsing for outdoor furniture. That being said not everything needs to be the highest of quality but expectations should be set accordingly.
I got a phi villa 10' patio umbrella its not bad but not the best either. For this canopy I would say too expensive, you can get 10' canopy from walmart for $40 and easy returns. I wish there were some deals at around this price range for 12-13' canopies

That would be the slant leg canopy, which is generally seen as inferior (and provides less shade) and you'll have more trouble finding accessories for them. The Ozark Trail straight leg one is $79.
This is usually one of those things where you can't afford a bad failure. Picnics, beach trips, sporting events. You can get great pop ups for $100-$150 that will last years. I had one bad experience with a $50 Walmart model that died 4 days into a weeklong beach trip. Not enough time for a replacement. Sunburns, heat exhaustion, and bad moods all around....
The gap between basic and midrange is huge.
Edit: Coleman's entire range is pretty solid. EZup also has a pretty good reputation from the folks I've chatted with on the beach over the years.
The Members Mark canopy at Sam's Club is also made by Z- Shade and is $89 currently in store. At least locally. I've been thinking about that one for awhile. The canopy itself seems like decent quality, but not many reviews on durability.
Can we please stop citing the prices of slant-leg canopies as better deals?
This is a straight leg canopy, not a slant leg. It has a true 10' top, while 10' slant legs have a smaller top, typically 8'. They have 64sqft of shade whereas the straight leg has 100sqft. That's why they're cheaper. Slant legs can bill themselves as 10' because that's the distance between two feet.
If you want something that will last any appreciable amount of time or something that you can leave outside unattended overnight, I would probably avoid something like this. I bought a Coleman (which I would expect to be better or at least equal quality to this) a few years back. Used it a few times, left it out on the patio against the house overnight one time. I guess it was windy that night because the next morning, I woke up and it was tipped over and one of scissor supports was broken and another bent.
My next canopy will definitely be a heavy duty steel frame canopy like one from ABCCanopy. My buddy has one of those a few years ago and already got more use out of it than I did with the cheaper aluminum one that I got. That thing is solid. Yes it's like double the price of this, but it looks like it could last a lifetime and considering I would already have to buy two aluminum canopies in 3 years, it seems much more reasonable.

Ours from Walmart just broke, and we're now using zshade from Sears

The zshade is comparable to the ezup in durability in my opinion.

I did purchase this prior to my beach trip but found a cheaper larger sturdier Ozark canopy from walmart, so returned my sports academy one.
